Art Pharris the bass player for Calvary's Grace. My story starts all the back when I was 18 year old . I was like most kids, getting into trouble. As far from God as you can get. Then one day my friend asked if I'd like to go and play pool; He never told me it was at a church youth group, if he did I know I would have said no. God knows what it will take to get you in. I got saved in that little church in Conroe, Texas. I am now 47 years old and still going. I cannot tell you it's all been sunshine and rainbows, but God has seen me though it all.
I have been playing bass most of my life it seems. I have been with a lot of different groups over the years but I never felt God as strong as I have felt him with Calvary's Grace.
We have had the pleasure to play at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta Georgia. And AstroWorld in Atlanta Georgia main-stage. Over the years, we have played numerous churches all over the place. We've seen revivals run for a month due to God moving so heavy.
It all started in a dark parking lot at a nursing home, over 14 years ago. God put on are hearts to start Calvary's Grace.
Now I look back and see just what God has been doing and I get excited to see what God has in store for us.
